Inspiration Board #43 - March Marriedness

It's been a long time but this mommy got a little creative itch and a few free hours, so in honor of the last day of March, I dug into my archives of inspiration and came up with this, my vision of March Marriedness. It takes place in Ireland of course, where else would a March wedding take place, right?! Only nearest and dearest are present because both bride and groom want everything to be very simple and sweet.  There's an old Inn that's been rented for the occassion with a large yard of annuals in full bloom, as well as green beyond the eye can see.  The bridesmaids are in kelly green, the men in casual khaki/linen with accents of green. The entire event has a naturally rustic timeless feel to it with lots of do it yourself touches. xo

Sunday Short & Sweet 51

happy happy sunday.. did you all indulge in lots of green beer yesterday? we had a rainy gray day here in socal, so the hubs and i stayed home with the little one and played our own little leprechaun games. i also cooked cornbeef minus the cabbage because a certain husband whines and complains about its grossness like a 5 year old. it was a great family day overall!!
this little sweet sunday piece was created with 12,000 pieces of construction paper. pretty neat-o if i do say so myself!

Tidbits on Tuesday

Happy Heart Day to you all! I do find this to be a bit much of a Hallmark holiday but there are never enough excuses to celebrate being in love.  One of my favorite ways I've learned about in the last year is with a love lock.   Love padlocks (also known as Love Locks) are a custom by which padlocks are affixed to a fence, gate, bridge or similar public fixture by sweethearts to symbolize their everlasting love.

Weekend Web Love

What a happy Sunday it has been! There's nothing I love more than some quality time spent with my two favorite boys. This unfortunately has not been happening enough lately due to my return to work.  As some of you know, I work in hospitality so while the hubs is at work during the day, I watch H and when he gets home, he watches H and I go to work. Luckily I have been with my job long enough that I hope to get most of the weekends off so I may enjoy my fabulous little family.  The hubby finally started our second attempt of sleep training with H and is doing amazingly! He's got him on an evening schedule that seems to be working well with a walk, dinner, a bath, a book and in the crib by 7-730.  This early bedtime is not only good for H but is also good for us to have a little down time before we start all over again tomorrow.  It's also allowing me back on my computer a bit to say hi to you all, which makes me very happy too!

Hello 2012

Happy 2012!! Here's a few photos of our favorite thing of 2011, he was quite the party animal and even stayed awake to toss his hat and ring in the New Year! I don't know about all of you but I am addicted to Pinterest, but even more lately than usual!  Being the mom of a nursing baby and just being a mom of a baby in general, I only tend to have one hand free most the time.  As all of you momma's know, this makes typing extremely sloooowww and difficult!  When pinning, only one hand is needed, thank goodness, so I tend to do it a lot more than blogging these days.
