Make It Yourself Monday - Floral Fun

There's nothing like brightening up a special space or not so special corner with a little flower power.  Flowers although pretty can be expensive to constantly buy and replace as they're already sadly dying when you get them.  So when I was perusing Amanda Johnson's personal blog here's looking at me kid, I came across her Catching Confetti: fun and festive resolutions for the new year posts by different guest bloggers.. it's pretty cool, you should check it out!  One project in particular caught my eye by Angela of SeeSaw Designs that has given me one creative solution to my floral needs.

How cute are these, right?!  And succulents are so easy and cheap to come by, as well as very self sustainable if you have a tinge of brown in that green thumb that you hope for.  All you will need for this project is:

  • Portland cement
  • Perlite
  • Peat
  • Water
  • Large & small containers
  • Gloves
  • Succulents & potting soil

Then go here for the rest of the details and begin creating! Have fun and Happy Monday my dears.  xo
