Hughes Is Here

After what seemed like a rapidly long 9 months, my little man is here!  I know 'rapidly long' doesn't seem to make much sense but to those of you that have been pregnant, I bet you know exactly what I mean!  Hughes Vann arrived 09/09/11 at 12:02pm weighing 7lbs. 11ozs. and 20" long.  The honey and I are more in love than we could have ever imagined and until I eventually write up his birth story, all I'm going to say is what an EXTREMELY INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! So far, things have been going well, we're adjusting to this parenthood stuff but it's nothing we weren't ready for.  I just love staring at him and watching how he changes daily.  The love between all three of us is infinitely strong, stronger than I had imagined and am so grateful for it.  Thank you for your patience with my absence, I will be reappearing more than disappearing in next few months.  In the meantime, here is a quick introduction to our new little love. xo
