Make it Yourself Monday - Chocolate Cherry Pistachio Cupcakes

Initially I was so distracted by the beautiful photos of these cupcakes, I didn't proceed to read how easily they can be made.  Sounds like another lovely creation to quench the sweet tooth!  I will be out of town for the next week for my nephew will be arriving into this world Thursday!! So excited to meet him!! If someone gets to make these before me, leave a comment and let me know what you think!

What you'll need...

• 1 3/4 cups white sugar
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of cake flour
• 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup boiling water
• 3/4 cup of fresh chopped cherries
• 1/2 cup of chopped pistachio nuts
