Shoes & Sweets 2

I do believe a type of red shoe whether it be a pump, a flat or even a boot is necessary in every shoe conscious girls closet.  This particular red shoe caught my eye because of its vintagey look.  I can see these looking excellent with a pair of jeans, a black dress or even a cute skirt with tights ensemble.  While thinking of these lovely red shoes on my feet, I can't help but be boring and crave red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  I know red velvet has gone through a big hype and although now could be considered trendy... I still very much enjoy it and hopefully you do too! xo

Here's the ingredients needed to get these cute lil' cupcakes started:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cubed and softened
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup (2 oz) red food coloring
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups cake flour
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp white vinegar
Preheat oven to 350. Line muffin tin with baking liners or grease and flour the muffing cups.
Then head over to Confections of a Foodie Bride for the rest of the delicious steps.
