Make It Yourself Monday - Fabric Banners

You're probably wondering what the image above is...now it looks like nothing, right! Eventually it will become one of those lovely little banners that you see being used avidly for all sorts of events.  Banners aren't just shapes hanging for decoration anymore, there are now banners of Love, Celebration, Mr & Mrs, Sweet 16, Over the Hill, Happily Ever After, Love Birds... you name it and a banner can be made for it.  Anyhow, with the help of Kelly Oshiro's handy dandy event blog, here's a tutorial on one way to do just that.
Kelly Oshiro... "I knew I wanted to make a prop for the bride and groom portraits so I decided to hand cut “love” out of the paisley fabric. To do this I printed “love” in large letters on my printer and cut out the letters to create a template.  I pinned the template to the fabric to cut the letters out. The I took the template and pinned it to stiff yellow card stock to cut out a second letter which would serve as the backing for the sign.(hot glue was applied between fabric and backing, as well as on ribbon for banner as adhesive)
