Inspiration Board #2 - Ode to Birthdays

This year I turned the lovely milestone of 30 and it happened to fall very close to my sweet friend Emily's wedding day. After an amazing meal, the very recognizable 'happy birthday' tune filled the reception and was aimed straight for me. Isn't she sweet!!!  Here's a shot of my excitement thanks to Julio Duffoo, Emily and Ryan's wonderful photographer.

Last week it was Emily's turn for Birthday fun and I unfortunately live too far to celebrate with her. So in all this birthday wonderfulness I was inspired to create a fabulous moment for her, as she did for me....here is my birthday celebration creation in honor of Emily.

ps..the gift I sent to Em also shares in the inspiration. i only wish i had found this card sooner to send, it would have been the perfect connection. here's to blue/gray galore!!!
